Creating memories with Collette Dinnigan's Italian-inspired fragrances

French perfumer Francis Kurkdjian said, “Perfume is the art that makes memory speak”. For Collette Dinnigan, her fabulous home and body fragrance collection expresses memories and feelings inspired by her time in Italy.

Collette shared with guests as part of a special Q&A held by Hunter & Gatherer Collections how Fiori di Bosco, her most floral scent in the collection, takes her back to the flowers and woods surrounding Rome, while Incenso del Sud evokes the woody, smokiness of Naples.

The full collection, which also includes the sensual Aventino di Roma and crisp Limoni di Sicilia, is now available from Hunter & Gatherer Collections.

Guests were treated to an intimate Q&A with Collette who shared stories about developing her range, her creative legacy and what a ‘Dinnigan Christmas’ would involve. The answer to the latter included good wine, close friends, lots of cooking, and perhaps the odd burnt dish.

Tastes of Italy were served up by Rene and Glenn from Birch Restaurant, Moss Vale who prepared a delicious five-course Italian-inspire menu, accompanied by Italian Prosecco.

Hunter & Gatherer Collections would like to thank Collette for sharing her time so generously with us and our guests, and we look forward to more fun events together in future.
