Teaming with Birch for Autumn

We were delighted to be asked by Renee and Glenn, owners of Birch Restaurant, Moss Vale, to help decorate for their Autumn season. We drew inspiration from the beautiful blue and red bird tapestry selected by Renee, and used this as our theme.

As many of you will know, Birch's interiors are moody and minimalistic - inky black walls highlighted with crisp white trim. Our mission was to add a quirky lusciousness without adding clutter.

Our centrepiece is a lichen encrusted branch found on our travels, nestled amongst green moss in our iron wash tub. Hidden within the branches and highlighted by the ball chandelier are beautiful little bird nests with faux eggs.

We added our bannister timber console to the entrance and dressed it with our feathered lamps, subtly framing the name 'Birch'.

French-styled wire bird cages were installed at the midpoint and rear of the restaurant, bursting with greenery and the soft glow of candles.

At the bar we introduced our majestic rustic wire Jardinaire Urns on stands, spilling out with green moss, Boston Ferns and Cissus. And for the rear wall of the bar, we were inspired by the pop of champagne corks, resulting in a fun installation of round black framed mirrors.

And as a final nod to the lush greenery, we added our luxe Monstera print cushions to the armchairs.

We know you'll love your dining experience at Birch and hope you enjoy our little contribution to their fabulous venue.
